The second post in the blog

Okay, the holidays, at least the big ones are over. What’s left is Valentine’s Day, Presidential birthdays (George and Abraham), Ground Hog Day (my oldest son’s birthday – turning 17), the leap year – February 29th (which my youngest son, turning 4, escaped by 24 hours and 9 minutes), uhhhh, the Chinese New Year (I do believe it’s entering the year of the rat) and and and, what else? not much else to mention.
I give some attention to the holidays, but I find that it’s what my family does around the holidays in relation to the holidays that really makes the holiday for me. Every year my wife tells me not to get her something. This was first year she bought me something because she knew that I can’t help myself – she NEEDS a present from me, because I like to get stuff for her. I already have our anniversary (9 years coming up) and her birthday figured out. I just need to come up with some other occasion to celebrate due to having more gifts, some purchased, some in mind for her than occasions to present them. Maybe, I…Ha! Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day, but she’s not big on St. Valentine who worked to establish Christianity and run the pagans out by separating, denouncing and killing them. I won’t go into that, let’s see what other holiday…um. Maybe an event like her leaving her current job of which she is not fond is a good event for giving one of these gifts. What are they? HA! She may end up reading this, I will never divulge until after the presentation. As this blog goes on I will reveal the revelations to you and you’ll hear about the build up, presentation and response. There will also be other fascinating information presented here as well. I don’ have a solid direction for this blog yet, but will be working on that. At present moment I do know that I would like to keep this blog up and running. I guess, this could be considered my beta blog. ciao for now true believers and remember that what you believe is true. -

  1. Welcome to WordPress! I think you’ll do just fine, just stay grounded, and don’t be afraid to say what you really feel. The more guts, the better (I think). Also, be patient with yourself. It can be mighty frustrating getting a gaseous feeling (not the fart type) on the page and having it make sense. I have faith in you!
